During my time as an associate at the Boulder accelerator with Andres and Malte, we were stark proponents of using data - even at an early stage. Data is a requirement for Validated Learning, which in turn helps Founders make decisions faster and with more confidence. We especially liked using data as a way to inform Product Market Fit, so we encouraged our cohorts to produce a Cohort Analysis as a way to measure retention - a critical metric for PMF.

For many Founders, it was a novel and abstract concept. I realized that Founders would struggle to put one together correctly - and even if they did, it was difficult to interpret the results. As a solution, I wrote a tutorial that walked through the process of synthesizing a Cohort Analysis, from data transformation to analysis.

Even with the tutorial, it could take many hours to implement - valuable hours that could be spent interviewing customers or perfecting your product. The accelerator programs are short and chaotic, so the choice to create a Cohort Analysis often boils down to a resource issue : slow down and learn a new concept or keep up momentum elsewhere. Data usually (and unfortunately) loses that battle.

Founders shouldn’t have to choose between building a great product and informed decision making. I’m offering a service to TS Accelerator companies to build the Cohort Analysis for you. No worrying if you did it correctly, no fixing formulas in a spreadsheet, no re-reading a blog post that looks like a foreign language. Packages

Build ($350): I build the Cohort Analysis, sent back in a Google Sheet. Drop in new data when available and it will update automatically. Interpretation is up to you.
