Hi! I'm Kyle Mok, and I founded Shrug Data to help early and growth-stage companies leverage their data for quick and scalable growth.

With over a decade of experience, I've navigated every stage of a company’s lifecycle. From building a data architecture and business intelligence system from scratch as the first and only data hire, to supporting hyper-focused product growth alongside a team of hundreds of data scientists, this journey has shown me how data can either propel a company forward or hold it back. I’ve gained a unique perspective on how to use data in the most impactful way possible - delivering immediate results while building a solid foundation that will scale as you grow.

I’m deeply passionate and curious about the process of building a company. It's why I've volunteered my time to assist with multiple cohorts at the Techstars Boulder Accelerator and continue to mentor founders as a data subject matter expert. I’ve seen firsthand the immense value that data provides, not only for making critical business decisions but also for building investor confidence.
